Easy Quiche Recipe

Description:

Today, let's take a look at Quiche.
Quiche (KEESH) is a savoury, open pastry crust with a filling made with eggs and milk or cream with one or more of cheese, meat, seafood or vegetables. Quiche can be served hot or cold. It is part of French cuisine but is also popular in other countries, particularly as party food.

Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 tbs butter melted
  • 1/2 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 1/2 cups cheese grated
  • 1 cup bacon rashers finely chopped

How To Make

  1. Preheat oven to 180℃.
  2. Then, in a bowl, whisk/beat, eggs, milk, butter and flour together.
  3. Next, fold in, cheese and fillings (bacon and onion, or anything of your choice).
  4. Pour into a 24 cm quiche dish, or Texas muffin tins, any mould/tray works.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes or until set.
  6. Serve hot with vegetables or cold with salad. 
  7. Voila! Your Quiche is ready!

Cheddar Ranch Chicken Strips

Description:

The Cheddar Ranch Chicken Strips recipe is one of the best diner recipes there is!
The cheesy taste and crunchy texture of the chicken will make you eat more!

Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Breasts.
  • 2 1/2 cups Buttermilk
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 3 cups Cheese Crackers

How To Make

  1. Take the 2 chicken breasts and cut them longitudinally (vertically) into strips.
  2. Put the chicken strips in a bowl, then add the buttermilk and the ranch dressing mix.
  3. Keep it aside to marinate for at least 1 hour. The marination is a great way to induce the flavors into the chicken.
  4. Next, take the cheese crackers and put them in a zip lock bag. Then, take a rolling pin and crush them into a coarse powder.
  5. Once, the chicken is marinated, using tongs, take them out and dip them in the cheese crackers powder. Make sure that the chicken is well coated.
  6. Then, place the chicken in a baking tray. 
  7. Bake the chicken at 425℉ or 225℃ for about 20 minutes.
  8. Flip the chicken after 10 minutes. This makes sure that the chicken gets cooked evenly.
  9. Serve with any dip and some vegetables!

Basic sponge Cake | Microwave Recipe

Description:

Ahhh! The sponge cake!
It is a delicious continental dessert.
Sponge Cakes are loved by anyone, can be eaten anytime, and now, can be made in a microwave!
Kids, especially love it!

Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted.
  • 1/2 cup Sugar.
  • 1 cup Flour (maida).
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder.
  • 2 Eggs.
  • 4 tbsp. Milk.
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Essence.

 How To Make

  1. Sieve Flour and Baking Powder in a bowl, and, keep it aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix Butter, Sugar, Eggs and Milk. make sure to mix it well.
  3. Next, beat the mixture for a good 5 minutes. 
  4. The whisking/beating is very important as it bring fluffiness to the cake.
  5. Next, add the Baking Powder and Flour into this mixture.
  6. Mix well, don't let there be any lumps in the batter/mixture.
  7. Next, add the essence and mix well.
  8. Blend/beat/whisk it again to make sure it bakes to be light and fulffy.
  9. Bake for 60 seconds in a 600W microwave.
  10. Let it cool, cut it into any shape you want and serve.
  11. Voila! Your Microwave Sponge Cake is ready!!! Enjoy!
